To empower, educate, and inspire women and girls locally and globally through leadership development, mentorship, and community-based programs.
Target Initiatives
Fostering cultural exchange and education around teen pregnancy for young women, while providing support for young women and their children as they continue their education. It also includes supporting educational access and basic needs for young women and teen mothers locally in the U.S. and globally (such as in Ghana).

Xcellence Glenn, Co-Founder & President
Xcellence Glenn is the Founder and President of Women & Girls of Xcellence, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through mentorship, education, leadership development, and community engagement. Guided by a deep passion for service, she is committed to creating opportunities that equip women and girls with the confidence, support, and resources they need to reach their fullest potential.
Her work is rooted in a special commitment to uplifting young women and teen mothers, helping them overcome obstacles, complete their education, and build purpose-driven futures. Through innovative programs and meaningful partnerships, Xcellence fosters a culture of encouragement, resilience, and excellence that inspires the next generation of leaders.
For Xcellence, this work is more than a profession it is a calling. She is dedicated to investing in lives, strengthening communities, and building a lasting legacy of empowerment that will impact generations to come.
Sheena Meade, Co-Founder
Dr. Sheena Meade is a nationally recognized nonprofit leader, advocate, wife, mother, and founder of Women & Girls of Xcellence, an organization created to empower women and girls through mentorship, leadership development, education, exposure, and meaningful opportunities.
Rooted in Florida with a vision that reaches across the nation and around the world, Sheena founded Women & Girls of Xcellence from a simple belief: where a woman or girl begins should never determine how far she can go. She is passionate about creating spaces where women and girls feel seen, supported, encouraged, and exposed to possibilities beyond their immediate circumstances.
Sheena has spent more than a decade advocating for people and communities too often overlooked. She currently serves as CEO of The Clean Slate Initiative and previously helped lead the historic Amendment 4 campaign in Florida, which restored voting eligibility to approximately 1.4 million Floridians.
Her leadership has taken her from local communities to national and global stages, including TED, the Milken Institute Global Conference, SXSW, and the Concordia Summit. Her TED Talk has reached more than one million views, and in 2024, Cheyney University awarded her an Honorary Doctorate of Public Service. Her work has also been featured by Forbes, CNN, Ebony, CBS, PBS News, and Newsweek.
But beyond the titles and accomplishments, Sheena’s greatest motivation comes from her lived experiences as a woman and mother and her belief in the power of women supporting other women and investing in the next generation.
Through Women & Girls of Xcellence, her vision is to build connections and create opportunities for women and girls throughout Florida, across the United States, and globally, including communities in Africa—helping them recognize their value, strengthen their voices, expand their horizons, and confidently pursue what is possible.
Despite the accolades and recognition, Sheena remains grounded in family, community, and authenticity.

Yolanda Parker-Jackson, “Big Mom”
Yolanda Parker-Jackson, affectionately known as “Big Mom,” is a lifelong union organizer, community advocate, and bridge builder with more than 35 years of service in the labor movement. Her leadership has included work with AFSCME, the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, the Black Women’s Roundtable, and the AFL-CIO Central Labor Council.
She continued her advocacy through the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, supporting civic engagement and the movement to restore voting eligibility to returning citizens across Florida. Yolanda is also the founder and CEO of Blanket of Love LLC, where she continues her commitment to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through mentorship, resources, and service.
A mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and spiritual mother to many, Yolanda is passionate about empowering women and girls, developing future leaders, and creating a legacy rooted in faith, justice, love, and community.
Jasmine Michelle Bradey
Jasmine Michelle Bradley is an entrepreneur, community leader, and proud mother of five who is passionate about creating opportunities that empower children, women, and families to thrive.
As the founder and owner of Lyza and M’Leeya’s Playhouse, Jasmine has dedicated her career to providing a safe, nurturing environment where young children can learn, grow, and build a strong foundation for the future. Her commitment to service extends beyond early childhood education through her leadership of Unique Rentals and Billionaire Enterprises, LLC, reflecting her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to strengthening her community.
Through her work with Women & Girls of Xcellence, Jasmine is committed to inspiring the next generation of women and girls to dream boldly, lead with confidence, and embrace their full potential. She believes that mentorship, opportunity, and a strong support system can transform lives, and she is passionate about helping others build a legacy of excellence, purpose, and impact.
